We would then scrape / brush all moss from the roof and clearing gutters while we are there.

Then we would apply a biocide, environmentally friendly soft wash application on to the roof. The application can ONLY be applied when the roof is dry. It’s fine if it rains afterwards.

Once the roof is treated you should see a difference on concrete tiles after 2-3 weeks on a normal weather regime, ie sun and rain. The sun breaks down the moss, algae and lichen and the rain washes it off. Usually you will see around 60 percent of the result after 3 months and after 6 months it will be nearly complete. After 1 year it will look prestine with no moss, algae or lichen on it.

Our application will not change the colour of the roof tiles, but will bring them back to the original colour like new.

The most important thing to remember is that we DO NOT jet wash or pressure wash your roof tiles. This can remove the surface / finish from the tiles and cause all kinds of leaks and damage.
